Apache Tears in the round

Just a little something I have been playing around with. I really like the effect. Must write a pattern for this.

  1. Love it! I'd love to see the pattern! I'd also be curious if it stayed flat if you kept making it bigger, like for a baby blanket.

    1. Hi Anniesazi......I am working on keeping it as flat as possible by playing with the increases but it's not happening :-) When I have reached the desired size I might do a couple of bpdc rows to turn the edge down or maybe a reverse single crochet border. I will keep you posted through the blog on my progress.

  4. John, a couple of standard crochet rounds, followed by a crab stitch round will flatten the edge out. That's what I did when I made your Mandala in Bloom x
